This book has been designed to mimic the format of the MRCP exam with a case history or stem followed by a radiological test and a short answer section. In order to avoid guessing, readers are asked to describe the radiologic findings in each case. It is hoped that by reproducing good quality images and by labelling the abnormal findings on the original images, that the reader will be able to convince themselves about specific radiological abnormalities instead of guessing where the abnormality lies. The signs shown have been listed to aid speed of learning. There is a short answer section at the end of each case to provide background knowledge. This is not meant to be comprehensive, but merely to whet the appetite for further reading. The book has been divided into 8 general sections, so readers can identify specific systems quickly. This book is intended to be a companion to An Aid to Short Cases for the MRCP Ryder, Mir and Freeman (Blackwell Science)
