For clinical neuropsychologists to succeed in determining the nature of neurocognitive impairment, patients must comply and put forth their best effort. In forensic contexts, such compliance cannot be assumed, so researchers here explain specific techniques for detecting bias in patients, and describe characteristics of such techniques within the larger context of established psychological and neuropsychological measures.
