For this 11th edition of a classic text, Guyton and Hall, both affiliated with the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, have added a full-color design incorporating 800 figures, including ECGs, charts, graphs, and new line drawings. Features retained from the previous editions include short chapters, reference tables, discussion of the relationship between pathophysiology and clinical medicine, and the application of core concepts to clinical examples and real-life situations.
