Gotts (American Psychological Association) and Knudsen (Lewis County Community Mental Health Center) integrate scales from the original MMPI with all of the standard scales from the MMPI-2, the recently published Restructured Clinical Scales, and a number of scales they have constructed to assess, in contrast to psychopathology only, positive strengths and coping abilities, components of impulsivity, and response consistency-inconsistency. They present item composition, reliability, and validity information for each recovered and new scale, and show how to conjoin Rorschach and MMPI-2 results and how to tie MMPI-2 results to specific DSM-IV criteria.
