Anthropologist Helen Fisher provides a slew of scientific evidence to argue that women are poised to infiltrate and influence all facets of global society and become "the first sex." Before you dismiss this as a rehashing of passé feminist ideals, check out the barnesandnoble.com interview with Fisher, during which she discusses how the female brain will change work and family life in the 21st century and beyond.
Helen Fisher is an anthropologist at Rutgers University and the author of The Sex Contract: The Evolution of Human Behavior and Anatomy of Love: The Natural History of Monogamy, Adultery, and Divorce. For her books, articles, and radio appearances, Dr. Fisher received the American Anthropological Association's Distinguished Service Award in 1985.
